The packs had never been to war, mostly because few packs had the time to engage other packs in war while the rogues still travelled through their territories. Then out of nowhere a rogue pack rises and destroys a small pack on the border before retreating back into rogue territory. Years pass before a second attack on a larger pack is mounted and is successful. During those years between attacks, the number of rogues in pack territories drops. No-one knows what's happened but few care. As the packs prepare for war, a lone she-wolf appears.
