One day while down in the lab Clockwork and some Observants come out of the Ghost Portal telling Danny he is the new King of the Ghost Zone (but currently Prince until he comes of age). Danny tries to adapt to being a Prince but finds his new responsibilities scary and stressful. But that is not all the newly appointed Prince has to worry about, for something sinister is lurking in the shadows. Will Danny be able to prevent himself from abusing his new power? *NOTE* This story is not a complete re-write.
