There are a lot of bad decisions you can make at two in the morning-texting your ex, cutting your own bangs, watching a three-hour documentary on the emotional lives of sea cucumbers. But drunkenly signing up for a six month subscription of an "Emotional Support Human" service while three glasses into a bottle of cheap rosé? That might somehow be worse. Because now, standing outside her apartment with a reusable coffee cup in one hand and a laminated 'welcome' packet in the other, is a man who looks like a boyband reject and grins like sunshine itself. "Hiya, love!" he chirps, like this is totally normal. "I'm Niall-your certified Emotional Support Human! Ready to feel your feelings?" ------- Or: The one where Niall Horan is a glorified therapist with the energy of a hyperactive golden retriever and Rowan Blythe unfortunately signed up for this.

Niall Horan is coming undone. Once the golden boy of the music industry, now he's a cautionary tale; burnt out, bitter, and dangerously close to self-destruction. After a public breakdown sends shockwaves through his career, his team devises a desperate plan to clean up his image: a staged romance with someone the world will root for. They just didn't tell him that someone would be Lennon Skye Hart. A rising model with a carefully curated life and a famous last name, Lennon was never supposed to be part of his story again. She's the ex he can't forget. The one who left scars beneath the surface. The only person who ever really saw him and yet still let him walk away. Neither of them knows the other has signed on until it's too late. Bound by a contract, forced into the spotlight, they're told to play nice for the cameras. Smile. Pretend. Perform. But old wounds don't heal on command. And fake love has a way of resurrecting real pain. As tensions spiral and the lines between hate and hunger blur, Niall and Lennon find themselves caught in the gravity of a love that never truly let go-a love that's as destructive as it is intoxicating. The question isn't whether it will consume them. The question is whether either of them will survive it. --------------- Or the one where Niall Horan and Lennon Hart are exes that end up fake dating for PR purposes and the tension is HIGH.
