Yes, Hiccup is scrawny, not the best viking, but that didn't matter to Rowan. He only hangs out with him...well because...Rowan didn't have anyone else. He didn't like the other teens or adults (except Gobber) so he just hangs out with his little brother. Rowan isn't the best viking either, but he is a little more muscular than Hiccup and is four years older than him. They both work for Gobber, and both want to kill a dragon, but Hiccup wants to at least get noticed in the village and not get picked on. But that changes when Hiccup shoots down a certain dragon, and Rowan well he also shoots down a dragon(but that's later in the story). -In this there will be another night fury that Rowan shoots down later.
