Coach Hedge, Reyna, and Nico are off to deliver the Athena Parthenos and restore peace between the warring Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter. The seven demigods must reach Athens by August 1st, the Feast of Spes, to stop Gaea from awakening by spilling the blood of two half-bloods upon the ancient stones, and defeating her army of Giants. Percy and Annabeth have just gotten out of Tartarus and have been reunited with their friends. The Seven are finally back together. As they get ready to take on Gaea in Greece they run into problems that could end the Seven before they've even finished. Nico and Reyna are trying to get the Athena statue to Camp Half-Blood before a war breaks out between the Greeks, and the Romans. All characters belong to Rick Riordan!

With the Doors of Death closed, and the seven finally united again, Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Hazel, Frank, Piper, and Leo were beginning to see some hope. But with visions of a horrible battle at Camp Half-Blood becoming more and more frequent, and with no way to defeat the giants, they are quickly losing faith. Everything they have won, everything they have worked for seems to be crumbling. Because if the promising trio headed off the Camp Half-Blood doesn't succeed, if the seven cannot defeat the giants before the feast of Spes, if Gaea wakes.... Then it is game over. With Nico and Renyea on their way to Camp Half Blood to save the camp from the Romans, because Octavian is out for blood, the seven set off for Athens. The final battle. Piper believes she may have interpreted the prophecy somewhat but it means death to one of the two boys she loves the most then. The effects of Tartarus are setting in on Percy and Annabeth. Flashbacks and nightmares that makes your blood curl. Leo is set on freeing Calypso from her forsaken island. (It was obvious she was team Leo!) As the seven venture out they experience pain like never before. Death. As the receive new recruits who seem to be on the run from Gaea, the seven learn to put their guard up. But what will happen as the prophecy of the seven fulfills itself?
