Neither did the others, but they didn't have a choice, so they gave in quite easily, while she stood her ground. She could also never figure out how they always had just enough money, whilst her father was a ceo of a very well-known company and her mother running a business of her own. they should be upper class. Or why they were always training. What were they training for? And what are her father and oldest siblings carrying around guns for? But as soon as Kat started finding out her family's dark secrets, she was ready to leave them behind. Yet before she could, a new darkness appeared and pulled her in a much different direction than she planned to - from one fighter family to another.
