Jake Sterling is 17 and has the perfect life. Well, not really. Jake is insecure and stuck with a group of toxic friends, and a girlfriend who doesn't seem to care about anything other than herself. He has a secret that could potentially ruin his life. He wants to sing more than anything, but he is scared his judgemental friends will ditch him, and he'll lose his status. Jake is forced to play a part, hide secrets, and be someone he isn't. He's told himself for so long to be someone he isn't, he doesn't even know who he is anymore. He's beyond lost and is starting to lose hope. Hailey Austin is 17 and recently moved across the country, away from everything she knew and loved. Now, she'll be starting Junior year alone. Hailey is incredibly talented in anything musical, and has an amazing voice, but hides her passion because of her intense stage fright. Hailey may be sweet, but she's gone through hell and back. For as long as she can remember, she's had walls up. She's tried to protect herself for years and is terrified of the idea of letting someone in. However, as time begins to progress, Jake begins to question who he is, and who he wants to be. Hailey begins to question if she should take the risk of opening up and if she should finally admit the truth.

Jake still has feelings for daisy, but what about Hailey? Hailey has a massive crush on Jake and is jealous of Daisy. As Daisy catches on to Hailey's feelings for Jake, Daisy becomes a matchmaker setting up Jake and Hailey on many occasions. Will Jake catch romantic feelings for Hailey or will Hailey be in love with the lead singer forever?
