Set a week after the last book, Nick was suffering from an asthma attack after a nightmare that woke not only Simon but also Curt and John. Simon had to check what kind of medication Nick was using for his tachycardia because Nick doesn't have asthma. After calling Dr Hayley and learning that the tablet version of Endopril isn't done, Jon woke up and told him that the tablets Nick was taking were beta blockers. The next morning, both Simon and Nick went back to the hospital to see Dr Hayley and Dr O'Connor. They were told that the beta blockers would usually work for normal humans with tachycardia, but would make an alien-hybrid even sicker. In Nick's case, he ended up with asthma and constant bronchospasms and now needs oxygen 24/7. The Wild Boys now need to find out who gave Nick beta blockers while Dr Hayley and Dr O'Connor work on the tablet version of Endopril. Warning: Contains medical details and may include elements of certain horror movies, such as nightmares. This book, along with other Stuck In The Box books, is not recommended for anyone under 16.
