And I don't really care if you like me, like meI don't really wanna play nicely, nicely.
In the vibrant world of street dance, Hwang Soojin -known by her stage name Winter- is a talented Korean dancer specializing in popping and hip hop. Although her beginnings were rooted in Russian ballet, she discovered her true passion on the streets, where movement became freedom and rhythm became her voice.
Years ago, when her parents sent her to Japan to live and study with her grandparents, Soojin met Kyoka Yamamoto, a hip hop dancer from Osaka with a magnetic energy and an unforgettable smile. Between late-night practice sessions, local battles, and shared dreams, a quiet but deep connection was born. Yet fate intervened when Soojin's grandparents decided to return to South Korea, forcing her to leave behind everything - including Kyoka.
Time passed. Soojin rose to prominence as a professional dancer, now a member of BREEZY, while Kyoka continued to grow within Japan's street dance scene, finding comfort and companionship in Kelly Saito, another Osaka dancer.
Years later, destiny brings them face to face once again on the international stage of World of Street Woman Fighter, where the best dance crews from around the globe compete for the crown. Under the lights, the pressure, and the gaze of millions, Soojin and Kyoka must confront not only each other as rivals, but also the memories of a bond that never truly faded.
Through glances that say what words cannot, movements charged with emotion, and battles that feel like conversations, their story explores nostalgia, silent love, and how dance can reconnect what time once tore apart.
A story where every step is a memory, and every choreography - a confession left unspoken.
