This is a speech I originally wrote for my public speaking class, but since I put a lot of heart into this I wanted to share it with people on Wattpad as well, to help other people that self harm or used to self harm. Jessica isn't a normal girl.. She's depressed and a severe self harmer, what happens when she arrives at Timberline Knolls, Demi admits herself and they are paired as roommates?

Madisyn has tried to kill herself. She refuses any of the help offered to her. She can't look at herself in the mirror. She can't go to school without her blade. She can't even raise her hand in class without being terrorized by the rest of the class. If that's not bad enough, she has to come home to her drunken stepdad who hits her any chance he gets. She can't let anyone into that part of her life. She just can't trust anyone. So imagine her disdain when the new kid who actually saved her life enlists himself as her new bodyguard.
