Ever wondered what Hiei was up to during his stay in the human world? How he was able to survive after finding himself stuck in a world where he'd rather not be and knows little about? Well, here is my version of those events. Hiei is moved into an apartment in town because, well, Koenma has to put him somewhere. There he is faced with the family next door and, against his will, their hospitality. Little does he know there is more to this nearly cliché appearing family then meets the eye. One member of that family, Yuko, a seemingly normal human teen that seems unlucky enough to be running head first into trouble and on one faithful night she unlocks a whole new world for herself through Hiei. Each chapter will show the point of views present, being either Yuko's or Hiei's mostly. I don't own Hiei or anything Yu Yu Hakusho related, but damn I would have loved to. Birdie had gone through most of her life as a military engineer within the Garrison Regiment peacefully. She didn't have to fight titans, just come up with weapons and contraptions that would prevent them from breaking down the walls that protected humanity. However, the discovery of a human having the ability to transform into a titan changed all of that, causing her to leave her current military position for a new, much more dangerous one. There, she meets Captain Levi. A cold, distant man who Birdie can't help but want to get to know. DISCLAIMER: I did not create all of these characters, nor did I come up with the major plot points! Taking place in a "What-If-Yugi-Lost-The-Final-Duel" time line, we find Yugi Mutou, Atem, and the rest of the gang with a new mission ahead of them: Helping Atem adjust to life in his own body rather than a trapped spirit. Now that Atem is in this world for the long haul, he finds himself struggling to cope with accepting parts of his past may truly be lost. Things could be worse, though...he could be Reika Haijime, a new and yet oddly familiar girl who seems to suffer a strange case of Short Term Memory Disorder, and an even stranger piece of jewelry. Atem is pretty confident fate had meant for him to find her, and likewise, Atem seems to be a face Reika can remember. Only time will tell if that alone will be enough to combat the upcoming challenges approaching from the horizon. Love, loss, and found again, come along as the sands of time reveal the tale of Reika.
