Trained her whole life to know nothing more but the blood of others underneath her talons. Her life in constant risk, but in the end, the RainWings would of course win. But dragons can change. Shoal wasn't the type of dragon to try to accomplish grand heroics, be courageous, or be wrapped up in anything large. She found it innate in herself to be in the background, to hide from the limelight, and to keep to herself, holding close all she held dear, like the dragons she knew, her hobbies, and her safety. Yet, with a crumbling household and a looming, very personal, life-upending move by a friend, all she wanted more than ever was to be secure and certain she'd have all she needed. Regardless, and inevitably, it was all coming to a head, and everything she had painstakingly built for herself was endangered, but not in the way she ever could have anticipated.
