what would of happen if Lexa hadn't been killed. i am not good with summaries... Lexa had just been shot by Titus and is bleeding out right in front of Clarke's eyes. Titus left in a hurry as he was afraid of what might happen to him. Clarke quickly began to gather things she can use to fix Lexa up. After a moment she came back with needle, stitching, and a wrap.

This story takes place after the season 2 finale when Clarke leaves Camp Jaha after all that happened at the Mountain. No one has heard from Clarke in 2 months and everyone is fearing the worst. Lexa's state slowly deteriorates as she blames herself for Clarke leaving. She has tried everything to find her. Except one thing. She has yet to go in search for Clarke herself... Will she find her? Is it too late? If she finds her How will Clarke react after betraying her at the mountain? Read and find out... (This is my first book so I apologise for any mistakes..)

Not really a huge fanfic writer but I ship Clexa so much and there is a lot more that I wanted from the show, so I guess here it is :3 Will be posting on here as regularly as I can and hopefully will come up with some new ideas to develop the plot from here. (All Chapter Titles are also songs that feature on The 100 soundtrack or songs I just felt fitted the moment.)

The Ground Before is a prequel to the TV series, the 100. 91 years after a nuclear war destroyed the human race, or so they thought. Grounders are descendants of people who were prepared for the war and are the only survivors who have adapted to take in the radiation. Lexa has trained her whole life to become a warrior, and to protect her people, and as her 16th birthday approaches, she is finally ready to take on the responsibility. Tension is breaking out between the 12 Clans of Grounders, but Lexa's only thought is to save her best friend, Costia. Lexa and Costia will do anything they have to to save the Woods Clan, and to restore peace between the 12 Clans.
