Alkasim was a final year student of Archaeology in Bayero University Kano who ventured, under the influence of his best friend Magaji to find out the history of the first settlers of Kano city, as their degree project. Unknown to them, the mystery surrounding the areas of their excavation, the hills inhabited by the first settlers possessed certain secrets and powers not meant to be uncovered, and which would determine their fates, in the way they had never expected.
