Sadness, disappointment, pain... that's what Reader-chan was feeling after realizing that her love for her best friend will never be requited. What made things even worse was the fact that Zack, whom she loved dearly, had just confessed his love to Aerith, who also happens to be the Reader's best friend. Being stuck between her feelings for Zack and her unwavering loyalty to her two friends, Reader-chan feels that her heart is being ripped in two. How is she supposed to cope with her heartache? Little did she know that her only comfort was from a man she barely knew - a man she had assumed to be nothing but stone-hearted and cold. Vincent Valentine, the Man in the Crimson Cloak. Let's just say that their first encounter wasn't necessarily a friendly one. However, things were slowly turning to get better, and both the Reader and Vincent will work on fixing what had been broken. They will gradually come to learn how to heal each other's wounds, whether they were newly inflicted wounds or old scars.
