Suddenly Boun saw a flash of purple through the trees. He didn't dare hope but as time passed he saw Prem approaching him. Boun couldn't believe his eyes. But his disbelief soon got replaced by worry. Prem didn't look good. His hair was messy, filled with twigs and leaves. He had bruises on his face, arms and god knew on what other places of his body. But by far the worst were his eyes, still red and puffy from the tears. Boun hurried over to him and wrapped his arms around him. Prem searched Boun's eyes and with a bit of hesitation he put his arms around Boun's neck. 'What happened to you?' Boun asked him. Prem shook his head. 'Am I safe with you?' he asked Boun. Boun looked into his eyes. No matter what happened, no matter how hungry or angry or sad he was, he would never be able to hurt the boy standing in front of him. 'I promise you' Boun said. Prem let out a sigh of relief and even smiled a little. 'Tell me everything' he said 'I will' Boun said 'But first...' he softly put his lips on Prem's. He could feel Prem freeze a little before returning the kiss. His lips were sweet as candy and soft as rose petals. And there in that moment, he realized that he would never need anything else.
