The game had never been kind to Yeonseo. She had always known it was a game, a twisted simulation with rules she couldn't quite understand, and memories that flickered like faulty light bulbs. But there was one truth she clung to: Jungwon was her ally, her only real connection. Until the game took that away too. Now, the world around her felt wrong. Like a puzzle piece that didn't fit, no matter how hard she tried. Her memories, her bonds, everything felt... distorted. And then there was Kyungjun. He hadn't been her friend, nor had he been an enemy. But his eyes, those sharp, knowing eyes always seemed to linger on her longer than necessary. "Something's different about you," Kyungjun's voice broke through the quiet of the bus, low and measured, as he leaned against the seat, his gaze fixed on her. Yeonseo tensed. She had hoped it wasn't obvious. "What do you mean?" His lips curled into a faint smirk, but there was no warmth in it. "You look like you've seen a ghost." Yeonseo forced a laugh, the sound hollow. "You're not far off." He tilted his head, his expression unreadable, as if piecing together a puzzle he didn't quite have the answer to. "You're not fooling anyone." Her heart hammered. Was he onto her? Or was it just her paranoia speaking? She turned away quickly, looking out the window, trying to silence the rising panic inside her. But Kyungjun's presence behind her felt heavier now, like a shadow she couldn't escape. In the silence that followed, the only sound was the hum of the bus as it carried them deeper into a game that neither of them could escape. #2 IN NHC (ALSO SURPRISINGLY THE FIRST EVER KYUNGJUN X YEONSEO FANFIC TO EVER GRACE THE INTERNET SOMEHOW)

In a world where every fight is rigged and every debt is paid in blood, Ko Kyungjun refuses to play by the rules. A boxer trapped in the underground circuit, he fights not just for survival, but for something he can't name something slipping through his bruised fingers with every match. Yoon Seo was never supposed to be part of this world. She belongs to Minho, Kyungjun's best friend, the one who pulled him into the underbelly of the city. But she keeps coming back watching, worrying, crossing a line neither of them should. When stolen glances turn into something more dangerous, and Kyungjun's defiance makes him a target, the ropes that once held him steady now feel like chains. In a game where there are no second chances, he must choose: fight for a life he may never have or walk away before he loses everything including her. The characters are from kdrama called ''night has come'' but the story is completely different .

"i heard you'll beat people up for money." slowly, a smile curls woo-young's lips. it stretches wide across his face, deepening the lines around his cheeks and creasing his eyes just slightly. an amused chuckle slips past his teeth as he leans back, taking a drag from his cigarette, "for the right price." "how much would i need to pay you to help me get revenge?" your question must catch woo-young off guard. he blinks, his smile faltering just barely. this time, when he studies you, it's with a smudge of curiosity. his eyes drag across every inch of your face, like he's trying to understand you, and you don't miss the way his attention lingers on the healing scab on your lips. "what kind of revenge?" he finally inquires. the corner of your mouth twitches. whether it was to form into a frown or a smile, you'll never know, "the kind that would make someone miserable for the rest of their life." heavily inspired by the glory & revenge on others

there's a saying about love and hate. how there exists a line between the two emotions. one extreme to the other, complete opposites in every which way. and yet, it's possible that with just the slightest nudge in either direction, you find yourself unable to distinguish between one or the other. you used to think that saying was complete and utter bullshit. when you loathe someone so reverently, so passionately, how could it ever be mistaken for love? how can one feel every waking bone in their body recoil at the sight of their figure and consider it the same as melting beneath a gentle caress, leaning into their tender touch? how can imagining your hands around their neck, squeezing all the air from their lungs, compare to pressing one's lips against the other, greedily taking their breaths as your own? you suppose, begrudgingly so, that there are similarities. the way the person consumes your thoughts like a virus. how unknowingly, your words and actions revolve around their own routine. but to go so far as to say your hatred is the same as affection? that's a line you cannot cross. so then why? why does that barrier blur when an arrogant boy suddenly takes space in your life? why does the way his words sink beneath your skin, his actions igniting a raging fire in your chest, make you second guess the way you feel about him? you hate him. that much is for sure. there's no doubt about it. it's just the way the world is. a simple fact about the universe. but the more you try to convince yourself of such a matter, the more vague the truth becomes. because as much as you wish to punch the smug smile off of geum seung-je's face, you can't deny how the thought of kissing him would work just as well. and achingly so, your heart wants one more than the other.
