Aleanna always thought she was just a seamstress living in a small town south of Erebor. But when Thorin Oakenshield sweeps through town searching for work after Erebor's fall, she knows it's not the first time she's seen him. Nor would it be her last. ***This story was inspired by the scenes of young Thorin working as a smith in the towns of men. It takes place shortly after the dwarves' exile from Erebor, as they journey south through the Wilderlands east of Mirkwood then westward to Dunland. *****YIKES! IT IS NOW 12/20202 AND ALTHOUGH IT'S BEEN FOREVER SINCE I WROTE THIS HUMBLE FANFIC, THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR DISCOVERING IT AND READING IT! LOVE ALL YOUR COMMENTS!*****

❝the most dangerous woman of all is the one who refuses to rely on your sword to save her because she carries her own.❞ [r.m. drake] The children of Arathorn and Gilraen had always been rather protective of each other. This was one of the reasons Asteria refused to stay behind while her brother took off on the most perilous quest yet. As the tenth member of the Fellowship, Asteria encounters many challenges and faces all of them head-on. But imagine her surprise when one of these challenges just so happens to be the unexpected feelings growing between she and the Steward of Gondor's stubborn son... © Copyright for LOTR belongs to J.R.R. The world of J.R.R Tolkien is one of the greatest ever written about, and inspiration for these one shots and imagines. Read about your favourite Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits and Humans, with maybe a wizard and dragon thrown in for good measure. Most imagines will be fluffy, or just downright romantic, with the occasional bit of smut, and some will even have a twist; but I hope all will be fun. 🏹⚔️👑🐲🧙‍♂‍💍 I do not own any of the Tolkien characters, only those I create myself.

When exiled Elf Ariel Greenleaf is found unconscious just beyond the borders of Mirkwood by the Company, they are ready to dispatch her without hesitation. It isn't until their leader, Thorin Oakenshield convinces them that she could be a powerful bargaining chip in their quest to reclaim Ereborn. For Ariel, being the dwarves' prisoner is only slightly better than succumbing to the elements beyond her home. But, that doesn't mean she is grateful to them or even willing to help. After all, dwarves and elves are enemies and dwarves cannot possibly be trusted. Especially Thorin Oakenshield. But fate has a way of turning enemies into something far more complicated. And for Ariel and Thorin, neither is prepared for the turn fate has in store for them. **note, I'm rather new to the world of Tolkien, so please be patient as I especially have a hard time keeping the dwarves all straight (except for Thorin, of courese :). ) This story takes place prior to the events of The Hobbit

When he puts himself between the Uruk-hai and Merry and Pippin, Boromir knew it means sacrificing himself. But it also means redemption for his near betrayal of Frodo and the Fellowship, and so is a price he is more than willing to pay. Kaia has been on her own for as long as she can remember, having escaped a terrible life in a village not far from Mordor. When she hears the sounds of battle, she knows what it means and when she ventured forth and finds a gravely wounded man lying amongst the leaves and debris, she takes him in, not knowing he is actually the son of the steward of Gondor. Angry at himself and faced with a long road to recovery, Boromir does not make things easy on Kaia and it is only through her own sheer will that she does not give into the urge to hit him over the head with something on a daily basis. That refusal to give up brings about changes neither one of them could have foreseen. She just wanted to save him. She never thought he would save her in return...
