All I needed was a new place to live. I'd been searching for months, almost ready to give up, when my brother called me unexpectedly. He knew somewhat about my financial um.. issues, I guess you could say. He offered me a very nice place with cheap rent. Good neighborhood, close to the city, a cafe nearby. The only catch, I had two of his old college buddies as roommates, and they seem hell-bent on not leaving me alone.
Scarlet Leighton, a strong and independent woman, has years of built up trauma, even if she doesn't show it too much outwardly. Her brother, older by only 3 years, was one of the only people aware of her past. She hid her anxiety well. She had a functioning life, a job, an apartment (it was a dump, but she felt grateful she always had somewhere to sleep), and a boyfriend. Despite all this, she wanted more. More adventure, more action. Living in a small town did little to cure her boredom, but maybe her new roommates would.
Tristan Hunt barely even knew his old college friend had a sister. That being said, he agreed to the living arrangements. What he didn't know, was that his best friend's sister was undeniably one of the most attractive women he had ever seen. It proved difficult to stay away from her, her bubbly and positive nature would be enough to draw anyone in. Yet, he couldn't help but notice the sadness hidden behind her eyes.
Atlas Andeadis was not an easy man to read. Quiet and observing most of the time. He didn't typically take time to notice a man or woman, feeling too old and work-focused to "fool around." But, of course, the woman that's strictly off-limits keeps catching his eye. He and Tristan had similar interests in women, making it even harder to focus on his business while the little vixen was in their home. It was supposed to be temporary.. but what if he doesn't want her to leave?
