It all started with a wrong number text about a romance novel order.
Emma Collins thought she was texting one of publisher supplier for a order clarification, hoping a typo of 50 of the same steam novels. Instead she ends up texting a complete stranger who doesn't want her to leave their newly formed chat. The stranger is funny and low and behold is a man that actually reads romance novels himself!
Emma Collins has worked at the same bookstore for 10 years. As much as she hates that she is slowly falling into the "spinster" category, she wants to break free from that mold and experience everything that has been missing from her life: passion, friendship, late night talks, and possibly love.
Paxton Donovan is a romance writer with writers block. His books are hits with his female audience, and not much is known about him to the romance population. He keeps his identity a secret and only writes under P. Donovan so that he can still model for book covers. When he gets a chance text from Emma Collins, he takes this as a sign and the thoughts of his new muse start to fill his head with ideas. No matter how many times Emma tries to end their conversation, he's not going to let his muse get away that easily.
What begins as a wrong number text quickly spirals into late night texts, phone calls about romance book recommendations, messages about hopes/dreams/ goals, to them reading books together and reviewing them - even the spicy scenes. Especially the spicy scenes. Thoughts on romance book covers, ones featuring Paxton himself.
Wrong Number - Right guy is a slow-burn, steamy romance about a chance encounter, good timing, a one very persistent man who refuses to be left on read.
