Lafayette began to turn to close friends and asked them if he could live with them until be had enough money to buy a house of his own. They all refused. Finally, as a last resort, he turned to his ex-commander, George Washington, and his daughter (if you're a dude, you can change this), (Y/N). The Washingtons and Marquis de Lafayettes were close, so Lafayette knew Washington would say yes. Well, most of the Washingtons and Marquis de Lafayettes were close. Lafayette and (Y/N), however, weren't. Ever since they met (which was when they were, like, six, on a vacation to France the Washingtons were on), they seemed to be fighting all the time. They couldn't stand each other. Both of them began to dread the frequent visits of the two families. So you can imagine (Y/N)'s devastation when her dad agreed to let Lafayette stay for as long as he needed. What would happen? I mean, with two enemies in one house, anything could happen.

Y/N is the sister of John Laurens, she lives with her brother and father in a small house in New York City helping her father as their mother passed away when Y/N was only four and John twelve. John had to grow up quicker to take care of Y/N as their father was very depressed but tried to hide it behind his paper work. John watched his young sister blossom into the young lady she was when he left for the Revolution. She was only ten when he left meaning she had to grow up quicker to look after their father while John was gone. When Y/N got to the age of sixteen she picked up a little job in the local library as she very much loved books and writing as it was a way she could escape from the fact her brother was gone. When John comes home for a break so do his friends. One day she bumps into one of the famous friends of her brothers at the library and things blossom from there...

A girl from the 21st century. Y/n was a candid, expressive and an intelligent girl. She's currently working as an art teacher at a highschool at New York. She loved the topic about the arts of their country, but she doesn't really find any interests in their country's History. Not until she had a student deliver a speech about its art of a particular french aristocrat that fought in the American Revolutionary war. It sparked her interest, looking at the picture drawn by her student. Her awakened desire to know more about the frenchman was strengthened when her student gave her a book about it. A book about him. Y/n took the book home and read it. She read until she fell asleep with the book beside her, which she didn't know that held so much mysteries and.... magic? The next morning, Y/n was stunned to find a tall, dark, and handsome European man standing in her bedroom, as if he had come straight out of the 1700's. It was almost as if he had stepped out of the very book she had been reading. How is this possible?!
