Detective Knight also known as DC Reece Emery Knight is everything a person would want in a boyfriend, charming, rich, handsome. Everyone except her, Marjorie Van Gould. In Oxford where they have to disguise themselves as Masters students at the prestigous Oxford University to discreetly investigate a series of ongoing murders and disappearances. Whilst balancing their hatred for one another. Oh and did i mention? In order to get to the root of the case they'll need to get into a secret society, the cases only lead. And when one of them has an unfortunate slip of the tongue.. they are forced into a fake relationship. Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Especially when both parties are hiding their own hidden demons. A story of rivalry, romance, healing. A story featuring bookstores, old cities, coffee, boat rides, academics and murder investigations.

What if Marjorie and Reece had a child when he was 20 and she was 18, having them hide the baby from both their parents and living two separate lives with Reece always visiting every chance he got which was very often, but nobody knows about it. Can they keep it up once they have to work together, or will everyone realize they're more than they thought with them being together for years. Mia also knows about it since she was the one who encouraged it, having to pretend like she liked Reece, but in this story, Reece knew she didn't like him, and he never liked her.
