PLEASE READ. Now, I've had this idea in mind for about a week and I've decided to do it. Though before getting into the story I should say I will be making changes to the Avatar lore and I'm sorry if you don't like the changes. The first change is that the Avatar Cycle is random and choose someone from any Nation after the Avatar before dies. In this story Y/N was born into the Fire Nation and grew up in a world in peace, unlike those who grew up during the hundred year war. Avatar Aang & his team Avatar brought peace to the world as well as created the nation of Republic City. Many years later Avatar Aang passed away and the Spirit known as Ravva would leave and go on to find a new Avatar from any Nation throughout the world. And one day she'd find someone to carry on the Avatar cycle, she found Y/N in the Fire Nation. But he didn't know it for awhile. It wasn't until Y/N was six years old that he'd learn he was the new Avatar and he'd learn so from Aang himself. When the White Lotus finds out about Y/N's status as the Avatar, they immediately want him to be trained in order for him to Master all the elements as soon as he could. As the years went by Y/N would go to Republic City as well as form his own Team Avatar in order to protect the world for people who would want to harm it. And it's up to Avatar Y/N to bring balance to the world. I don't own any characters/storylines used in this story. All rights go to their respective owners.

The world thought the Avatar was gone. The Fire Nation thought they would win. Jasmine knows better. Taken the night her mother died, broken by the Fire Nation, and returned to the Southern Water Tribe years later with scars no one can see, Jasmine has learned one rule: survive, even if it means becoming cold enough to freeze the sea. When a boy is found trapped in the ice, the balance of the world begins to shift-and so does Jasmine's fate. Hunted by a banished Fire Nation prince with fire in his hands and rage in his heart, she is forced into a journey that will test loyalty, identity, and the cost of power. Zuko is her enemy. Zuko is her mirror. And somewhere between war, spirits, and stolen moments, hatred begins to blur into something far more dangerous. Enemies to lovers. Slow burn. Canon-faithful. Mature themes.

Miarri, (I will eventually change her name to Kida so that's why in some chapters you'll see Kida instead of Miarri or Mia) otherwise known as Mia by her family and friends, is the older sister of her sister Katara and Sokka, who is her younger twin brother (only by 5 minutes). She's from the Southern Water Tribe and just like her little sister Katara, she's a Waterbender. What happens when Katara and Sokka come back with an Airbender that they found in an Iceberg during their fishing trip? What happens when Mia gets captured by the banished prince of The Fire Nation, Prince Zuko? While she's his prisoner, will she grow fond of the prince, or will she hate him just like she hates all Firebenders? Read and find out!

In the heart of the Fire Nation, Sen, a waterbender from the Southern Tribe, older brother of katara and Sokka, finds himself imprisoned, forced to heal the very soldiers who have bound him in chains. With every passing day, the weight of captivity grows heavier, and his spirit begins to crack under the cruelty of his captors-Fire Lord Ozai and his merciless daughter, Azula. Yet, amidst the darkness, one unexpected source of light emerges: Zuko, the exiled prince of the Fire Nation. Initially a prisoner himself, Zuko's wounds from brutal training bring him to Sen's cell, where their bond begins to grow. Over time, their connection deepens, evolving into a secret, forbidden love. But when Zuko is cast out by his father, he is forced to leave Sen behind, promising to return one day. As Zuko embarks on his journey to capture the Avatar, Sen is left alone in the prison, clinging to the hope that one day, the prince will return for him. But the years of abuse take their toll, and Sen finds himself broken, both physically and emotionally. Yet, even in the face of his darkest moments, the memory of Zuko and the love they shared keep the ember of defiance burning within him. With the Avatar's return on the horizon, Sen's hope is reignited. Determined to survive, he holds on to the belief that one day, Zuko will come back for him. For love, for freedom, for redemption-Sen will endure.

Years before the Siege of Ba Sing Se, General Iroh discovers a young girl among the remains of a decimated Water Tribe village. Raised in the heart of the Fire Nation, she grows close to the young crown prince and accompanies him and Iroh on their adventures. ________________________________________________________________________________ **This is an old story I had written in my head years ago when the series was still on Nickelodeon, and most of what I had originally written out was dialogue, so I apologize for any lack of detail or imagery-I don't have much time to devote to it as I'd like. I've read quite a few fanfic stories out there and this one isn't very good in comparison, but I'll post it for others who might find it entertaining--it was certainly entertaining to write. Also, I understand a lot of readers don't like stories that follow canon. This one does follow the show for the most part, but eventually digresses, follows, and digresses again. Disclaimer: I own nothing of the world of ATLA, although a few characters were seriously harmed (or killed) in the imagining of this fictional story.
