BOOK 1 OF THE OATHBOUND TRILOGY The kingdom of Qecia is alive with celebration. A grand festival has been arranged, a moment of respite in a land still healing from the brutal deaths of its king and queen. Newly crowned at a young age, King Hendrix Adrinelle has worn the weight of his kingdom on weary shoulders ever since, struggling to balance duty with the life he never had the chance to live. Amidst the festivities, a stranger arrives from a distant land ─ Reuben MacKenzie, a foreigner from the Scottish Highlands, whose presence immediately catches Hendrix's eye. Where Hendrix is poised and burdened by expectation, Reuben is untamed, unfiltered, and utterly free. Their meeting sparks an unlikely friendship, one that quickly deepens as Hendrix finds himself drawn to Reuben in a way he struggles to put into words. But in the court of Qecia, danger lurks behind every mask, and the eyes of nobility are always watching. As Hendrix navigates treacherous political waters and the ever-present threat of betrayal, Reuben becomes an anchor he never expected ─ one that forces him to question whether a king can ever truly choose his own heart over his crown. With the kingdom's future hanging in the balance, Hendrix must decide: follow the path carved for him, or risk everything for the one person who makes him feel free. • • • • • • • [ Reuben MacKenzie, Darci MacKenzie, and Percival Weaver all belong to @brunettexbombshell❕] [ Sporadic Updates❕ ] [ Rewriting❕ ] • • • • • • • All Rights Reserved® Copyright© 2018, Connor Anderson

Clive Buckwalde. Senior paladin and rookie retainer, the king's right arm, and loves (hates) to make a fool of himself in front of the most beautiful person in his entire world. Evangeline Adrinelle. Princess of Qecia, the king's only sister, and adores her golden-retriever, silly, and impeccably charming new retainer. --- this is just a sweet, wholesome romance between two adorable people that I've created, with the help of my bestie WhisperingJadeDragon. He is the original creator of Clive Buckwalde, but has given me the liberties to create this story and expand his character/personality to fit this story. LOVE YOU, THANKS! ---

*Cover is a work in progress* Book one of The Worshipper's Trilogy: REVERENCE of the Unholy God At the edge of the town of Khirene, at the step of a small well-tended church, a soft knock sounded on wood. When the elderly priest shuffled to the door, upon opening it he discovered only a babe swaddled carefully, lying in a basket and staring up at him in silence. The little one was taken in and raised by the few remaining members of the church. He never once smiled, laughed, nor even cried. He took part in every aspect of the church, though he never attempted to speak with its chosen god during the nightly prayers as the others did. Instead, he picked a different one each night, silently reaching out to them and waiting for just one to answer. Then one night, still early into his teenaged years, something reached out for him first. It whispered in his ears, quiet and oh-so-alluring. It gave him its name and as it slipped from his own lips, something long forgotten was granted entrance back into the world. From then on, he spent every night devoting his prayers to that single entity, but both man and God soon began to wish for a worship of more than mere words. © All Rights Reserved
