We'd talk about how it was crazy how we were actually related. Cousins even. About my sh*tty stepfather and his sh*tty father Hades. We would lie awake and stare at the ceiling and just cuddle each other close. Sometimes, we were all we had. I never thought I'd fall for someone, much less someone I'd known so long. Which is why it kinda shocked my mom Sally a little when I told her I was gay. I mean, I was shocked too. I hadn't met a "pretty girl", I'd met a "beautiful boy"...

After Annabeth Chase's death Percy Jackson breaks down, blaming himself for what happened. All of Camp Half Blood mourns but none like the son of Poseidon. Feeling alone and insecure Percy Jackson turns to Nico Di Angelo who has dealt with the death of someone close many times before. But when Nico comforts the mourning Percy..things change in ways he never expected.

This Story takes place after the war with Gaea, when Nico is 16. Tartarus gets bored with his domain and decides to mess stuff up in the over-world by sucking up Atlas's Essence and have the sky fall. With only the two camps and the underground places intact, Nico and Percy must figure out how to solve this problem. Meanwhile, Nico thought that he had gotten over the son of Poseidon. He had made a promise to himself to never be so stupid again to fall in love. But as Nico and Percy become closer, Nico finds that the complete opposite has happened: he's fallen deeper.
