In Elvador, power controls everything.
Those born with extraordinary abilities are admired, respected, and placed above those without them. Junipher has no powers, or so she believes.
Raised by ordinary parents, Junipher has accepted her place in the lower class. She endures discrimination while trying to live as a regular human. With only her two closest friends, Anika and Christian , by her side, she does her best to ignore the strange feeling that something powerful might be hidden inside her. Christian is one of the few gifted people she trusts and perhaps the only one who has ever made her question what she truly wants.
But Junipher has been haunted by vivid dreams since childhood. These dreams are filled with death, loss, and a mysterious man she knows only as "him." She has never met him, yet every time she sees him, her heart aches with a sorrow she cannot explain.
As the line between dreams and reality begins to blur, Junipher will discover that some truths cannot stay buried forever and that she may be far more than the powerless girl she has always thought she was.
