No começo, pensou que seria uma perca de tempo, já que nenhuma banda que ele era fanático iria tocar lá, Sanemi queria apenas fazer companhia à seu irmãozinho, que era apaixonado por um garoto de uma banda que Sanemi mal conhecia, porém, ao chegar lá e ver aos integrantes da tal banda, o guitarrista em específico chamou sua atenção e apenas isso, já fez com que ele sentisse que toda aquela viajem valeria à pena.

Sanemi e Giyuu mantêm um relacionamento secreto há algum tempo, escondido dos outros Hashiras. Quando recebem uma missão juntos para investigar desaparecimentos num vilarejo conhecido por seus festivais luxuosos, os dois precisam manter o foco - mesmo com provocações e olhares que só eles entendem. Durante a missão, enfrentam um Oni poderoso. Giyuu sai gravemente ferido, e Sanemi decide que os dois devem permanecer ali até ele se recuperar. Alguns dias depois, acontece um festival na vila, e Giyuu insiste para irem juntos. Lá, ele compra discretamente um doce afrodisíaco e o entrega a Sanemi sem dizer o que é. Naquela noite, o clima entre os dois esquenta. A tensão que vinha se acumulando explode em momentos íntimos e intensos - cheios de desejo, cuidado e entrega. E mesmo com Giyuu ferido, Sanemi se permite sentir.
