NOTE: This story was first drafted a thriller and I dubbed it 'Withered Rose'. (Hence the rose on the cover) I then later swapped the drafted chapters to make it an action book and named it Debbie Oaks (like the main main character) The first chapter is, however, unchanged. Debbie Oaks- Genius, sick of her sister, pretty, thought shy, almost invisible, single Lilly Oaks- Bitch, jealous, cheerleading captain, Queen B of Riverside High, spoiled brat, dating a criminal They're both sisters. Twins. Polar opposites. They both detest each other. Want to kill the other. They're both 16, and while Debbie works part-time at a cafe, Lilly's at nightclubs and doing wild things. Enter Jade Black- a 17-year-old master thief, sworn enemy of Lilly's boyfriend and new guest at the cafe where Debbie works. Approaching Debbie was never her plan- but after realizing how useful Debbie could be she makes her an offer. Which Debbie accepts. It should have been simple. Help a thief, bring down a criminal, step out of a sister's shadow, never worry about it again. Then Jade and Debbie fall for each other- and nothing is ever the same. After all, all cats have claws- it's just the matter if you use them or remove them. Word count: 20,000- 25,000 words

Sequel to Debbie Oaks- read Debbie Oaks before this! It continues roughly from the end of the first book. "Can you truly walk away from someone you were ready to burn for?" Debbie Oaks is presumed dead after the death of her twin sister Lilly Oaks, killed apparently by her boyfriend, Blake Taylor, who is now in prison. Only Debbie and Jade, her former girlfriend, know the truth- Debbie shot Lilly through the heart and killed her. But now, it seems someone else knows the truth- knows what Debbie did, and is threatening to tell everyone. Now, Debbie and Jade must put aside their differences and work together to both save each other and take down their mysterious adversary. But when you don't know who's chasing you, how can you outrun them?
