Aster es un chico que fue transportado al mundo de Re:Zero. Sin embargo, vive una aterradora experiencia al ver cómo el mundo es consumido por obscuridad y una presencia horrorifica de ojos amatista siempre se hace presente, haciendo que pueda volver en el tiempo. Su búsqueda por revelar estos misterios lo lleva a encontrarse con un chico peculiar: Subaru Natsuki. Quién al parecer también viene de otro mundo y al igual que él, parece recordar ciertas cosas que otros no.
