On that cliff, pushing them over felt like a good thing to do. If not both at least Will dying would be enough. He just wanted this to be the end. And maybe just maybe Hannibal, if he lived, would be presumed dead and would be a free man. Maybe Will wanted to free Hannibal. And maybe he also wanted to rid Hannibal of the only person that understood him. An overdue punishment for killing Abigail, perhaps? Taking away the one person whom Will felt he needed.
