Scoring Without You Is Impossible, (So Let Me Shoot For You)
apocalypse-of-books
"Tell me Dazai, you've been playing basketball since secondary as one of the best players, entering one of the best sports high school, right? Apparently, you quickly made your team win the summer tournament, as well as becoming captain of said team at the ripe age of fifteen. Some might go as far as saying you are the prodigy of the decade."
The interviewer's voice sounded distant but Dazai kept smiling emptyly, nodding to confirm the facts.
"So, how do you feel about you're new teammate, Chuuya Nakahara. Is he, in your opinion, worthy of being in your team?"
Dazai thought about it. Chuuya had talent, lots of it even, sure his height was a big handicap in basketball but he turned that to his advantage. Chuuya was lightning fast and he played in a way Dazai was yet to apprehend.
The ginger was incredible in every way and was definitely worthy of being his teammate. His partner even.
Turning back to the journalist, Dazai put on his sweetest smile.
"No, the shortstack is absolutely horrendous, he shouldn't play baseball in the first place. I don't know what Mori sees in him!"
