When a mysterious stalker targets his friends in pursuit of the Chaos Emeralds he has to put his doubts aside for Tails' sake, but as danger creeps ever closer, Sonic is faced with a terrible choice, one that could destroy his friendship with Tails forever. SONIC 3 SPOILERS "What's going on?" Maria asked. "I don't know," Shadow replied, getting off the bed and walking to the door. After hesitating, Shadow opened the door and followed the sounds down the hallway to the main entrance. There were bolts of blue lighting dancing across the room, and guards went down left and right by something too fast for anyone to see. The guards fired into the room, panicked, but the blue blur of lighting was relentless and soon no one was left standing. Shadow stood at the edge of the room, eyes and mouth agape as the blue blur finally stood still, standing over the unconscious guards. It was a hedgehog! It looked like- "Shadow," Maria breathed out, appearing beside Shadow. "He looks just like you."

Shadow must embark on a mission, but Rouge isn't here with him this time, so he's forced to take Sonic instead. They hate each other, down to the very guts, but as the mission continues and they become lost in the wilderness, they must work together to survive the deadly harshness of the rainforest and the mysterious creature following them.
