The story of Bruno Sazzione continues on a new dangerous quest: he must unravel the enigma around the Horn of Souls. Accompanied by his friend, Clara Sinclair, they will go to the far reaches of the World Tree to find the weapon. If Bruno and Clara fail, the dead will invade the world of mortals and a war will destroy it all. Meanwhile, Magnus Chase must find the hammer of Thor. If he doesn't, giants will invade Midgard. Bruno Sazzione's story comes to an end. After finding the Horn of Souls and helping Magnus Chase to retrieve the hammer of Thor, he must now journey to the farthest borders of Jotunheim and Niflheim to face the greatest threat of Asgard. Together with his friends, Bruno must do his best to stop the evil god Loki from sailing with the Ship of the Dead. Otherwise what they all fear will arrive: Ragnarok, the end of everything.
