His touch was cold despite the glove covering the robotic forearm. His grip tightened, and she let out a soft gasp. Skywalker's saber ignited, and held it directly at her throat. I intend to keep him as in-character as I possibly can, meaning this story will not be all butterflies and rainbows. There will be abuse in many forms, as he will not be one to easily open himself to anybody else other than Padme. If you expect a happy story, this is not for you. Reina is one of two daughters who happen to be descendants of the galaxy's most successful family of engineers, the Vondars. A bumpy beginning to her life had led her and her sister, Sabel, into a life of slavery upon the planet Geonosis. Upon being discovered by the Empire, her seemly-infinite skillset with construction, ability to repair mechanics in near record timing, and overall usefulness to the developing Death Star attracts the attention of none other than Darth Vader himself. The two inseparable siblings are ripped apart from one another, their dream of joining the rebellion together dies alongside what Reina thought she knew about her own past. Beyond anyone's control, Reina grew to resent the man who gave her a new meaning in life. Her hatred for him entangled with Vader's own for her, the two of them craving nothing more than to feel the other's blood on their hands. Despite this hatred, an unexpected twist of desire arose between the two. The fear of love that had been buried deep within their own seething hatred eventually began to expose itself. Will Vader allow himself to continue holding onto the past, allow the fear of potentially losing somebody else continue to push her away? Or will he give in and protect her in ways he was unable to with Padmé. This story will be as close to canon as I can possibly make it, and Vader will still have to rely on his suit to breathe.
