Unknown to the others, Gwen started blushing when she saw Izuku, though she felt a little sad seeing he already had a girlfriend and a daughter. Melissa noticed and later pulled Gwen aside to talk. After their conversation, both agreed to share Izuku. Eri, overjoyed, called Gwen "Mama Gwen," which made Gwen gush at the adorable snowball of a child. Just then, they noticed a fire in the distance and quickly realized Ben was missing. Izuku told Melissa and Eri to stay at the Rust Bucket. When he found Ben, he had transformed into the molten lava alien known as Heatblast.
