Lucas Grant has always had a problem: he can't lie. He tells the truth, no matter the cost and people hate him for it. But everything changes the night his sister-in-law is murdered. Lucas can't remember what really happened. His best friend becomes the prime suspect, insisting he didn't do it, leaving Lucas trapped between doubt and loyalty. The court orders him into therapy to uncover the truth but Lucas wasn't prepared to meet the most stunningly beautiful, utterly unreadable woman he's ever seen as his therapist.
