This is about Finnick and Annie's story from Finnick and Annie's perspective. Hope you like it! I don't own any of these characters other than the ones I make up on my own. I am not trying to copy or steal Suzanne Collins idea, I am just trying to make a good book that everyone will enjoy reading. It's completed, I don't know how to mark it as completed though :)

We all know that Annie Cresta is the victor who went crazy inside the arena, and is the person that Finnick Odair loves the most. What is her story though? Who was she before the madness had consumed her?

Annie Cresta is eighteen and her life is over. She doesn't doubt her own ability to survive the Hunger Games, but the male District 4 tribute is none other than Kai Cresta, her little brother. Only one of them can make it home and Annie is determined that it won't be her. --- Shoutout to @TheBestWall who comes up with half of the plot points for this book and is basically a co-author at this point

Finnick Odair could have had any girl he wanted. But who did he choose? A crazy girl named Annie. No one would have guessed Panem's most famous victor would choose someone like her, but they shared a bond no one could break. Not even when everything went against them. **I don't own any of the characters made by Suzanne Collins**

I wanted to write a story with explicit scenes that worked perfectly well if you wanted to read it without them too. The love of Finnick Odair and Annie Cresta seemed so pure, so human, that I wanted to give them a fully fleshed put backstory, because let's face it, they deserve one. From their childhood, to Finnick's games, to his time in the Capitol, to Annie's games to the events of the actual series, this book has it all... and more! I will be returning to old chapters and fleshing them out as I see fit, as well as writing new ones. All explicit scenes will be handled tastefully in the regular chapters, similarly to Peeta and Katniss in mockingjay with the 'so after...'. The chapter after one of these moments will be an appropriately signed explicit scene, that won't add anything to the story that wasn't there already. So enjoy this story, but remember, in Panem, the odds are never in your favour...

Before Katniss Everdeen set fire to the nation, and before the boy with the bread declared his love for her, there was Finnick Odair, living legend of Panem. Ψ ••• Ψ If Finnick Odair wins the 65th Hunger Games, he'll be the youngest victor ever. After several years of bad luck and unfortunate circumstances, District 4 is in dire need of a victor, a hero to save its people from the merciless tyranny of the Capitol. Considered a prodigy by many, Finnick is confident he can return his home to its former glory and restore its eminence in the eyes of the nation. Aided by his mentor Mags and his magnetic personality, Finnick enters the decadent world of the Capitol and instantly makes himself a favorite, the newly proclaimed golden boy of Panem. But Capitol favor alone won't keep him alive for long. When Finnick joins his fellow Careers, each of them older and more experienced than he, to face an arena hiding danger around every corner, it becomes clear these Games are designed to push him to his limits. Between battling Gamemaker schemes and fearing his own allies' betrayal, Finnick is confronted with a pivotal question: How far is he willing to go to wear the victor's crown? As the Games progress and his body count rises, Finnick finds that the closer he gets to victory, the further from humanity he strays. [A story chronicling the Hunger Games of Finnick Odair, Panem's youngest victor]
