Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III has always been different, and the fact that he was born deaf just made things even worse. Unfortunately, turning sixteen brought even more changes to his life, like being removed as his dad's heir and arranged in marriage to none other than Ruffnut Thorston. At least he had made a new friend to help him through everything, though the village would brand him a traitor if they ever found out. As he becomes closer with his new dragon friend, he realizes that he can no longer stay on Berk. There's too much at risk and there's something out there, something that only he and Toothless can resolve. So he leaves, along with his new wife, to make peace for the dragons and save them from a tyrant. Years go by, and Berk has been left in the past...until they show up on the shores of the island they call home. What are they supposed to do now? Since Berkians can remember, every person in the teenage years will gain the ability to shapeshift into their spirit animal. You don't know what age you'll gain the ability exactly but it always happens in your teens. Throughout Berkian history, not one Viking has ever had a dragon as their spiritual form. From what I'm guessing it's because Vikings loath dragons so much, hating dragons is part of their personality so it makes no sense for a dragon loathing Viking to be a dragon.
