The older female looked down at the child, who was currently kneeling on the ground in a deep bow. She furrowed her eyebrows at the girl shaking harshly. "Hey," She slowly kneeled down to the ground next to her and placed her hand on the youngers' back, furrowing her brows further when the girl flinched, "It's no big deal. Look, it isn't even broken!" She spoke softly, letting her know that it was no problem. "B-but-!" "Itaakari," The young girl flinched and tightened her muscles in fear when she felt herself being lifted up by the other woman. She bit her lip and hot tears began burning in the corner of her eyes. However, she relaxed a bit when she saw the worried expression on the heros' face, "You're not in trouble. You can act however you want here, this is your home too now. This is /your/ home. Okay? I'm not here to play executioner, I'm here to help you." She gave a comforting smile to the girl and pulled her into a light hug. And for the first time in a while, the young girl didn't feel like she was in immediate danger. She let go of the breath she had been holding and softly spoke, "Okay." The timeline skips around a lot, but in a way where it's hopefully understandable, yk? The story will follow the plot of the manga and anime, just with her own story as well. Another thing, I might change pov's a lot. I usually try to stick to first person or third person but it drifts around. Updates are unplanned and erratic. I get writers block often so I'm unable to write in order and properly. My apologies.
