In an alternate ending of the Hands of Time, Kai and Nya get thrust into the future after facing the Time Twins, where they must seek the help of the future Ninja of Ninjago as well as the future versions of their teammates to get home. She's forced to grow up sooner than most, and when she's thirteen, Nya realizes the world is a lot bigger than she'd thought. From blacksmith to samurai to ninja, Nya learns to keep her family close and set her doubts aside. Besides, Ninjago isn't gonna protect itself.

Set after Ninjago dragons rising season 2. Kai and Nya desperately search for Jay as he tries to find out who he is. He goes undercover in a small village protecting the people for the forbidden 5. But when Kai goes missing and everything goes wrong Jay has to decide: save his so called friends or let them be taken by the forbidden 5.

Takes place after Rebooted. Due to a misunderstanding, Jay believes that Nya has chosen Cole and leaves the team. While the others are unsuccessfully trying to find him, a heartbroken Nya finds out she's pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's child (which kinda explains her messed-up emotions, irrational behaviour, and sudden dislike for pudding in season 3 😉). Six years later, Jay has left his Ninja life behind and is (more or less) happily working as a primary school teacher - which is where he meets an interesting little girl with lightning powers.
