Vegas was in a coma for a month and he couldn't fight for what was his after his father's death. Korn gave everything to Porsche. Not only did Porsche become the head of the minor family, but the house and every last penny now belonged to him. Pete chose Vegas and whatever comes with that he was ready to face it. They were a family now. Vegas comes out of the hospital not knowing that the bodyguards, the house, and even the bed he will be sleeping on is Porsche's now. Pete will know all about that, but won't be ready to tell Vegas the ugly truth, making their relationship vulnerable. Vegas will think that everything is like they were used to be, but nothing is the same anymore. Vegas really has nothing after all.
