About 16 years ago, a fantastic gift was bestowed upon my parents, and they named it Hartley. Yeah, rhymes with Fartley. Thanks mom and dad. Regardless of the unfortunate things my name rhymed with, I had a blissfully drama free childhood, until highschool rolled around. From my first lungful of the heavy, nacho and Axe scented air back in 8th grade, I new things were going to change. And they did. Friends came, friends left, but years later in Grade 11, I finally had my solid group of people, who could also be mistaken for insane asylum escapees. It was also the year I noticed Halden. From his perfectly messy brown hair, all the way down to his beat up Converse, I knew he was the perfect one for me, and dove in head first. The only downfall was that it'd hard to see the right guys when you're already drowning in the wrong ones. Afterall, you cant have a happily ever after with out breaking some hearts and having yours broken a few times in return.
