Echo ich smętnej, mrocznej pieśni niosło się po zimnych korytarzach już od lat, lecz nieroztropni uczniowie mylili je z wiatrem lub skrzypieniem starych okiennic. Tak, jak to zostało dawno temu przepowiedziane, hymn śmierci musiał w końcu rozbrzmieć głośno niczym wojenne bębny. A gdy idzie się na wojnę, dobrze mieć po swojej stronie zaufanych sprzymierzeńców.
