Sequel to Life In the Tower, Tangled AU. Rapunzel, Cassandra, and Varian realize that there is so much more than just the healing power and the decay power, that there is more to them. When Varian and Rapunzel touch a mysterious rock, Rapunzel's hair returns and Varian gets another blue streak. Cassandra is Rapunzel's lady-in-waiting and personal guard at the same time. The princess was meant to marry the crowned prince of the Dark Kingdom, Varian. Everyone in Corona knows how much the Princess loves her boyfriend, Eugene - even her parents knew of this but a deal is a deal. A war might start if it weren't fulfilled. Rapunzel was sent a month early to the particular kingdom with her lady-in-waiting by her side. Rapunzel wanted to spend the time she have left with Eugene so the ladies did something reckless. They switched. For a month, Cassandra would act as a princess while Rapunzel as a lady-in-waiting so she could sneak out to meet Eugene. They were going to reveal the truth after a month. It was all part of the plan. What if things don't go the way they expected it? It was supposed to be just a month and all pretend to Cassandra, but as days passed by, why is it that she could never get the prince out of her mind? It's a Once Upon A Switch love story.

A fellow Cassarian shipper hosted a Cassarian Month in August 2023, and I decided to turn my entries for it into a month of different AUs! So here they are, along with short stories to go with the art!

In the same universe as my other Tangled story. So, slight far future spoilers. Varian is fifteen, almost sixteen, and Cassandra is twenty-two. Don't get me started on age gaps! This was perfectly fine back in their time period! Varian has redeemed himself and he's now the Royal Alchemist. He's grown a little in the past year since the Battle of Old Corona, and as a result, he's starting to attract girls his own age. Cass is totally NOT jealous! She's not! (She is.)
