Echoes: The Sun always Sets

(BOOK ONE) For the Lynx Clan and the Bobcat Clan, generations of conflict were a bitter truth. But now, an unnaturally long winter grips the land, pushing both clans to the brink of starvation. Hope dwindles as the expected spring fails to arrive, the endless ice and snow testing the resilience of every lynx.
Into this bleakness comes a mysterious mother, leaving behind three peculiar kits. Their arrival is no mere coincidence, but a ripple in the frozen silence, a question mark etched in the snow: Rainfall, a light gray female with striking and impossible blue eyes; Snowdrift, a pure white male with a black hind paw; and Sunset, an unusual darker brown female whose red-orange gaze softens to a warm ember.
In a clan where lighter fur is prized for survival against the persistent snow, Sunset's darker coat makes her an anomaly, a potential liability for hunting and battles against the Bobcat Clan. As prey becomes scarce and the neutral river, their only reliable food source, teeters on the edge of violence due to mounting hunger and tension, Sunset feels the weight of her difference, a shadow against the snow, and questions if she's destined to be a burden or a beacon of hope. What role can she, an undervalued lynx, possibly play in ending this devastating winter? The fate of the clans rests on the paws of lynxes who doesn't fit in. But is she the key to salvation... or the harbinger of their doom?
