Miarri, (I will eventually change her name to Kida so that's why in some chapters you'll see Kida instead of Miarri or Mia) otherwise known as Mia by her family and friends, is the older sister of her sister Katara and Sokka, who is her younger twin brother (only by 5 minutes). She's from the Southern Water Tribe and just like her little sister Katara, she's a Waterbender. What happens when Katara and Sokka come back with an Airbender that they found in an Iceberg during their fishing trip? What happens when Mia gets captured by the banished prince of The Fire Nation, Prince Zuko? While she's his prisoner, will she grow fond of the prince, or will she hate him just like she hates all Firebenders? Read and find out!

She grew up practicing her bending and helping Katara with all the chores, while their brother practiced his fighting skills and tried teaching the younger boys of their village. Makki's siblings followed their destiny of helping Aang master all four elements while Makki was stuck on a path with the Fire Nation Prince Zuko and his uncle Iroh. When Makki, Zuko, and Iroh became fugitives from the Fire Nation and refugees inside the Earth Kingdom, Makki had no choice but to help the lost prince find his way onto the right path. But in the end, Makki will find that it's tougher work than she first anticipated, though, she figures out how to connect with the prince and may even develop feelings for him.
