Well, we came back from fighting a civil war between the deep ones and the hybrids to now learn that a mysterious island with R'lyeh has risen and well, guess who has to try to figure out what's all going on and to try to clean up another cosmic mess. One thing is for sure: the unexpected should be expected. Like seriously, and I thought my life couldn't get any weirder.

I learned the hard way in Sisikawja that not everything is as it seems. Now, my friends and I are trying to write a new rulebook, a Fourth Edition to a story that's as old as time, if not older. We've gone from being survivors to being leaders, from victims to... well, something else and we're trying to figure it all out. We're fighting a war for the lives of a species that isn't even human, all while being hunted by forces that defy known physics and guided by a god who is more comfortable in a dive bar than a temple. This is a story about what happens after your worldview shatters and you're forced to build a new one from the salvage. It's a story of found family, hard-won hope, and the terrifying truth that even in this terrifying cosmos. Hopefully though, it's not in vain.

This story? Absolute nightmare fuel. And it's only for the bravest of you out there. If you're into those predictable, formulaic horror stories, trust me, this ain't it. My name is Josh Friedman, and my goals are simple enough: survive, protect the people I care about, and figure out what in God's name happened to the reality I thought I knew. I am a survivor of a town that an F5 tornado ripped apart, and now I'm living in this mysterious little village in Wisconsin. People here whisper about dark rumors of ancient evils, the ones that are legends and hopefully remain so.... Hopefully. If you've made it this far, kudos. Or maybe just a heads-up. This series will not disappoint.

"After the betrayal, I awoke in a place untouched by time-an unforgiving void where mystery clings like dust and memory burns like fire. The Elder's tomb is not as the scrolls described; it is a prison. Ageless. Eternal. Haunted. And I am not alone. Memories taunt me with every breath-fragments of the life I lost, of the one who sent me here. You. Perhaps in remembering, I'll find the truth. Or perhaps this Moon-forsaken place will keep its secrets forever. But there is more-these memories stretch beyond my own. They offer a new path, a past that weighs as heavily as the present. It's all connected to you, and I will uncover why."
