Once upon a story, there was 2 islands separated by a barrier, one for the good, and one for the bad. The good land was called Auradon, ruled by King Beast. Idk he's real name. Is it Adam? I get Adam vibes. The bad one was the Isle of the lost, where all the villains and remotely interesting people got sent. This brings us to the start of the story, where Fairy Godmother, yes, the bippidity bopity boo, was doing a routine check. Here, she came across the most feared household in all of the Isle, the de Vil household, home to Cruella and her son, Carlos.
Though he wasn't really her son. Well, technically by blood he was, but not by chose. You see, Cruella treats her son like a slave, getting him to do all of her dirty work, and if he does something wrong, well let's just say I feel for the kid. The monster with black and white hair didn't care about him, not one bit. For Godmothers sake, he sleeps in a closet with active bear traps! The only friend he ever had was scared away by her, and...
Sorry. I got carried away from the story, didn't I? Well, basically, the shortened version is that Fairy Godmother (lets call her FG) walked past the de Vil household, saw how Carlos was treated and took him back to Auradon with her to live with herself and her daughter, the wonderful Jane.
But... I'm feeling mean tonight, so I'm going to tell you the whole story. Watch out, it can be confusing. It also will have some trigger warnings such as child abuse and blah blah blah. And I only own this amazing narrator and no other characters.
