As the Ash Settles, is my take on what happens to the group of companions after saving Baldur's Gate. As the ash settles and the drinks are pouring a familiar sensation washes over our Tav, the very same one that compelled her to attack poor Alfira in her slumber, perhaps defeating her sister was not just denying her father but in fact taking back her rightful spot as leader of the Bhaalspawn, perhaps Withers was indeed wrong. She and Astarion cross paths and they fall in love. He is savagely stolen from her and when she had all but given up on finding her little star again she happens upon a merry band of misfits outside of Baldurs' Gate. It follows their journey to rediscovering their love and how she and Astarion begin the long process to heal his trauma while also fighting the main struggle set in baldurs gate 3. Not a Tav x Astarion, Evangeline is a D&D character I created for this story, Tav will still feature but as a custom character like in game though not the protagonist of this tale. I am by no means a professional author and these chapters might be full of errors and grammatical mistakes, I apologize in advance.
