Snow covers anything in sight, no surface escaping the white blanket. Things were already bad. But what happens when Ripplestar is found dead? What if StarClan remains silent? The Clans turn on each other, doubt shimmering in their minds and hearts. Will anycat find the real reason for the silver leader's death and the silence of their ancestors, or will the Clans be consumed by the cold?

In the heart of blue skies, there lies three clans who had always been at peace; allowing any warrior to go onto another clan's territory. They had been taught with kindness and respect, so the first leaders decided that any cat from the clans could come and go wherever in the clans' territory. Until... A murder. A unknown serial killer had gone loose, killing those who suspect them. A group of apprentices from each clan and two young warriors decide to team up and work together to find this murder-before time runs out.
